In this game mages cast by rolling arete + sphere rather then just arete. Difficulties are unaffected.

As a result, Damage is no longer based off doubling successes after the one required to hit another target (see Base Damage or Duration chart page 504). Instead, damage is zero at 1 success, then for any number of successes above 1 damage is equal to successes.

1 success --> 0 damage
2 successes --> 2 damage
3 successes --> 3 damage
4 successes --> 4 damage
n successes --> n damage

Correspondence Sphere Ranges and Countermagick adjustment rules are coming in the next week.

How does this affect (if at all) non-damage things like correspondence/time scrying ranges, duration, etc? Are those tables not affected?

Correspondence is being altered as noted above. The other tables are staying the same at least for now, however this is something Archmage will be deciding so I can't say if he will end up adjusting them. (I'm just the messenger.)
